The Verdict:
Yesterday I posted about my Operation: Peace Out Shin Splints. Happy to report that I got through Week 4, day 1 of C25K and it wasn't bad! I did stop during one of my "walks" to stretch and I was fine to finish. My shins are a little sore today, but I've been stretching like crazy today and I'm ready to get back out there tomorrow morning to run with Dad.

Congratulations on the loss - any movement off of the plateau is great news :)
There's no shame in stretching when you feel a splint coming on - it's SO much better to avert injury or pain.
