1st Bebe appointment

Today was my first bebe (I don't know why I keep calling it that :) appointment and was so glad Jordan got to come a long.
So, let's back up...Monday my OB office called and said that my HCG level were "normal" but on the lower side of was 582. They wanted me to come back in to re-check. Of course I went to bed crying, praying and Googling for any type of reassurance. Tuesday I went in for a blooddraw and was told Wednesday it had gone to 2400! Whoohoo, I was happy.
Then today was my first appointment. My doctor was in Labor & Delivery so I didn't get to see her :( but they scheduled me a sono. We were able to see the gestational sac, but no fetal pole or heartbeat. I start to panic, but the ultrasound lady said it may be too early. My gestational sac measured 1cm putting me at 5 weeks pregnant, instead of what I thought 7 weeks. I am so confused?? Maybe I could be a few days off on when I ovulated/conceived, or maybe I just found out really early? Either way, sono lady was nice and said I could come back in next week and I'd be surprised what a week's difference can make. So, I will be going back on June 2nd...praying for a heartbeat and healthy baby. I also got more labwork taken today to still make sure my hcg is doubling. I should know the results before noon tomorrow.
I know my blog has turned more into a baby blog than a weight loss blog, and I feel guilty for that, but this is where my life is at now and I plan on documenting this journey thoroughly and precisely!
1 Samuel 1:27 I prayed for this Child, and the Lord has granted me what I asked of Him.

don't give up hope yet. My sister just went through this (levels were not quite what they should be and seeing sac but no baby) and the dr. actually told her that she was going to miscarry. AFter multiple ultrasounds/blood tests, switching doctors and about 1 week later they finally heard a heart beat and saw the baby. This whole time she just wasn't far enough along. Hopefully this will be your case also. :)
